Radiators, thermostatic valves and all associated pipework can be installed and maintained by any of our qualified engineers.
Modern efficient radiators can come in any colour, style and many different sizes. When radiators are sized correctly they can maintain a comfortable heat throughout the rooms of your home and they can now add to the décor whilst saving on the energy cost to run your home.
Want to decorate your room and your radiators in the way? That’s fine. Call us and we can remove the radiator and re-install it at a later date. Meaning you can paint your entire room hassle free.
Thermostatic radiator valves prevent individual rooms or areas from overheating and can also easily be turned down in areas that are not used. This can improve your comfort and efficiency.
Pipework leading to radiators and your boiler can become degraded or restricted with age and poor maintenance. Replacing or flushing pipework can improve system efficiency and the speed your property can heat.

Underfloor Heating
Installation, fault finding, service and repair to any underfloor heating systems.
Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating removes the need for traditional radiators leaving your home with a cleaner look and a smarter way to heat. Underfloor heating will heat everything from the floor up keeping your toes nice and cosy in the cold months.
There are various types of underfloor heating systems available. The best underfloor heating solution depends on a range of factors including your project type, your current heating system and energy source.
Underfloor heating essentially works by turning the floor area into a giant, efficient and invisible heat emitter. Heating pipes are installed beneath the floor, which heat up, to warm the room from the ground up.
Because underfloor heating covers such a large surface area, it is able to use much lower water temperatures than radiators. This helps to improve efficiency – especially with a heat pump – and also better heats a room as there are no cold spots.
Benefits of Underfloor Heating:
- Flexibility – Underfloor heating is extremely flexible. It can be installed in any property type. From new builds to renovations and extensions, there is a solution to suit! You can install UFH in one room or multiple rooms, and you can even have underfloor heating upstairs.
- Warm, heated floors – One of the main benefits of underfloor heating systems is how they feel. Heat gently emits upwards from the floor, making cold floors feel warm underfoot. UFH systems produce an even warmth, eliminating cold spots and draughts common with radiators.
- 25% more efficient – Warm water underfloor heating uses far lower flow temperatures than a radiator system. By covering a larger surface area it is still able to heat the room effectively, using less energy in the process. For this reason, underfloor heating efficiency is around 25% more than radiators and up to 40% more efficient when paired with a heat pump!
- Space saving & discreet – Underfloor heating systems are ‘invisible’ as the tube is hidden beneath the floor. This eliminates the need for radiators, freeing up valuable wall space. UFH is ideal for open plan living, smaller homes, and rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms where space is at a premium.
- Safe & healthy – Underfloor heating has no exposed hot or sharp edges. This makes it a safe option for young children and the elderly. UFH is also great for allergy sufferers as it provides warmth free from draughts and dust movements that can aggravate certain conditions.
- Kind to the environment – As a low temperature heating system, underfloor heating uses less energy than traditional high temperature systems like radiators. This can help you to reduce your carbon footprint – even more so when installed alongside a heat pump.
Excellent, professional, trustworthy service. Brett and his team bring years of experience and it shows. Honest appraisal of needs and very reasonably price compared to competitors. So pleased with my new boiler and Hive hub.

Warm Air Installation and Servicing
Our experienced engineers can install and service your warm air system.
Warm Air Installation & Servicing
Although most properties in the UK are heated using a boiler and radiators there are still many houses that use warm air central heating. Warm Air Units are similar to air conditioning units in the way that they blow air around ductwork and out through grilles or vents throughout the house. The air is normally heated by way of a gas burner and is controlled by a room thermostat and a time switch.
If your warm air unit stops working you will probably find that most companies will not want to work on it. If this is the case then give us a call! Our engineers are fully qualified in warm air units.
It is imperative that all warm air units are serviced every year, even more so than a normal heating boiler. Because the air is blown around the system by a large fan unit, there is often a large build up of dust and debris throughout the unit. By cleaning the unit properly and by ensuring that the pressures are correct you are really able to see the difference in performance from before we service a unit to after.
If your warm air unit has reached the end of its life then we can offer you all of the advice and expertise that you require. We can offer you a completely free of charge survey and quotation for your replacement warm air unit. There are many benefits of having a new modern warm air system installed:
- Discreet and efficient – Warm Air central heating provides fast warm up times and it can incorporate a water heater. Warm Air is introduced into the rooms via discrete diffusers leaving your wall space free to position your furniture – no manoeuvring around radiators! Modern Warm Air heaters with electronic controls provide stable room temperatures, are the ultimate in comfort and offer greater fuel efficiency than traditional boilers. This is all topped off with a smooth and quiet operation.
- Money saving – modern air heaters have intelligent control systems that monitor the control of the appliance. This ensures the most efficient operation with savings of up to 18% on running costs when compared to traditional boilers.
- A cleaner environment – with allergies in the home becoming more common with both adults and children alike, modern heaters have the option of electronic filtration when Cleanflow is added. This means that all of the air in your home can be electronically cleaned at up to 6 times per hour. The filter removes 95% of all airborne particles down to 1 micron. (Pollen is approximately 100 microns and tobacco smoke is 1 micron). This will provide a cleaner, healthier, more allergen free home environment; beneficial for everyone but especially so for children and adults with hay fever, dust and pet allergies and suffering from respiratory complaints such as asthma.
- Hot water – most modern air heaters now offer the option of an integral domestic hot water circulator. This is mounted within the air heater to provide an efficient and economical supply of hot water. Larger output circulators are available on some models to supply hot water to radiators as well as domestic hot water.

Air Source Heat Pumps
Air source heat pumps are becoming an increasingly popular choice for homeowners who are looking to install renewable energy solutions in their home.
Air Source Heat Pumps
Not only do Air Source Heat Pumps allow you to reduce your carbon foot print, they will significantly reduce your energy bills.
Air source heat pumps are suitable for the heating and hot water needs of houses as well as apartments and flats on the first floor and up.
The main advantage of air source heat pumps and boilers is that they safeguard homeowners against fluctuations in energy prices. Heat pumps use the environment to generate 75% of the heating and hot water needs for your home, meaning that you’re significantly less reliant on electricity to keep your home toasty, and you’re much less vulnerable to the ever-rising costs of heating in your home.
What is an Air Source Heat Pump?
Air source heat pumps extract thermal energy (heat) from the outside air and convert this into heating and hot water for your home. Air source heat pumps are designed to work in cold temperatures and are suitable for a range of homes, from a small apartment to a large detached home. Air source heat pumps do require electricity to operate, but 75% of the energy required is generated from the outside air, with only 25% being required from electricity. This means that 75% of the energy you use will be from a renewable source, which will reduce your emissions and CO2 impact.
Air source heat pumps will be installed outside your property and are very quiet during operation.
They need to be located outside and require a solid base to sit on or structurally secure wall to be mounted to, in order to be installed.
The advantages of using ambient air:
- Provides heating and hot water for your home
- Perfect for properties that have limited outside space
- Small and compact
- Suitable for a range of properties
- One of the lowest investment costs for heat pumps
- Suitable for modern low energy or well-insulated properties
- Quiet during operation
- Works in cold outside temperatures
- Compatible with radiators and underfloor heating
- Minimal ongoing maintenance
- No fuel deliveries or fuel stored onsite
- Possible to benefit from Government incentives such as RHI payments
Power flush
Power flushing and cleansing of troublesome or dirty systems.
Power Flush
A power flush is a chemical cleaning process for your central heating system. The cost varies depending on the type of flush, the age of the system and the number radiators.
Signs that a power flush is needed:
- inconsistency of heat in your radiators or cold spots
- Noisy radiators, pipes or boiler
- Black water coming out of the radiator when bleeding
- Consistently having to bleed the radiators
- Central heating system takes a long time to heat
- Central heating system keeps breaking down or needing to be re-started
- A water quality test
Over time sludge and debris will build up within your central heating pipes, this will cause the pipes to rust and the system will not run efficiently.
If installing a new system you may also opt for a power flush to clear out any sludge and debris meaning the new system can run as efficiently as possible.
You may think this is unnecessary expensive however in the long run a power flush could save you money:
- it can prolong the life of your system
- make your system run more efficiently
- Reduce breakdowns
- Potentially decease your energy bill
- Reduce noise from radiators and boiler
Landlord Safety Certificates
We can supply annual landlord Gas Safety Certificates.
